bruce lee. golpe de una pulgada, wing tsun !

The original term for the inch punch is “cheung kiu faat lik” or expelling force while in long bridge.

My Sifu (citywingtsun) gave a whole seminar on the inch punch and the concepts surrounding it once and it was frikken amazing, differentiating party/parlor trick from expressing force over short distance and/or while in long bridge….

I want to congratulate my boy Hungryghoast for his new (???) position at City Wing Tsun. It’s fantastic and he deserves it. You should go have him teach you how to be a better person and how to better kick someone’s ass.

You know that shit is serious if he came back to facebook for it. Good god damn.

Yo, damn, thanks KDA!

yeah, I’ll probably not plug this too much around these parts, but if you want to you can <BRANDING>LIKE ME ON FACEBOOK</BRANDING> or harass me on facebook or whatever it is you do.

I’ve been pushing towards this over the years always seemed like a distant goal to actually be a recognized Wing Tsun instructor but I just kept at it and things came together and now if you want you can come to our school in MidTown and I’d be really happy to teach you. We have this photo of Grandmaster Ip Man up demonstrating a technique on the wodden dummy and I dunno how long I’ve been looking at this photo and finally last week I began to learn that portion of the dummy and just had this humbling moment thinking of the lineage of teachers that lead to me being able to learn this and now hopefully being able to someday teach it to many more….

Congrats to my student Craig Savino, new head instructor for students at my NYC location!

i’m not usually one to toot my own horn or anything but… Hey! Here I am! It’s something I’ve worked pretty hard for over the past couple years and I’m excited to be in this position now. Training and teaching Wing Tsun is pretty much as fun as it gets for me and I’ll be bringing that to all the classes for new students at City Wing Tsun in Midtown.
